[email protected]</td></tr></tbody></table>최근 내린 장맛비로 인해 대구시 달성군 논공읍 낙동강 달성보 아래 모래둔치 수백미터가 유실된 것으로 드러났다.<br><br>환경단체들은 4대강 사업 공사 때 강한 물흐름에 견딜 수 있는 대책을 제대로 세우지 못했다며, 이번 장마 때 폭우가 쏟아진다면 더 심각한 문제가 발생할 수 있다고 경고했다. <br><br>13일 한국수자원공사에 따르면 지난 7일 달성보 하류 방향 200m 지점에 있는 모래둔치 300m가량이 불어난 물에 유실된 것으로 나타났다.<br><br>사고 직후 수자원공사는 중장비를 동원해 침식된 둔치를 복구하고 있다. 수자원공사측은 이번 침식이 달성보 안전에는 전혀 문제가 되지 않는다는 입장이다. 하천변 둔치의 경우 유속에 따른 침식과 퇴적을 반복하며 자연스러운 경사면을 갖추기 때문이라고 설명했다.<br><br>수자원공사는 이 같은 현상이 모래둔치가 있는 일부 구간에서만 발생할 뿐, 대개의 4대강 사업 현장에서는 일어나지 않는 특수한 경우라고 주장했다. 또 중장비가 동원된 것도 자연경사면을 빨리 만들기 위한 조치라고 덧붙였다.<br><br>하지만 환경단체는 수자원공사의 주장이 변명에 불과하다고 반박했다.<br><br>이번에 유실된 지점이 둔치가 아니라 사실상 둑이라 봐야 하고, 폭우가 내릴 경우 이번보다 더 큰 피해가 발생할 수 있는 만큼 철저한 대비가 필요하다고 주장했다. 또 강물이 달성보의 수문을 통과하면 유속과 유압이 더 강해지며, 이를 둔치가 버티지 못한 것은 심각한 문제라고 환경단체는 말했다. <br><br><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="left" border="0" style="margin-top: 0px;
